Hello everyone! My name is Melissa and I am the owner and the creator behind Milana e Messina boutique!
I am a Melbourne mother of two little girls, and also a primary school teacher. I am currently on leave after having my youngest in 2019. I am enjoying every moment of watching my baby girl grow, learn and honestly just admire everything she does. I am one very lucky mama :)
I decided to name my business in honour of my two beautiful daughters Milana who was born in 2014, and Messina who was born in 2019! My girls are everything to me. They are my crazy world. I honestly just can't get enough of them!
I absolutely love being a school teacher. The kids are so amazing, and there is not one day where I do not have a big fat smile on my face when I am in the classroom. I love what I do. I love the kids. I love that no two days are ever the same.
I am so used to doing a millions things at a time... hello teacher life! Yes, I am flat out being a mum, but I like to have something creative to have just for me. And, this is why Milana e Messina was created!
Everything in my store is designed, created and handmade by myself. Our items range from children's jewellery to teacher gifts. These are the two areas that I know best and my creations are loved by both teachers and children and most of all will be used. The supplies I use to create my products are sourced from local small businesses, right here in Australia. We love supporting other small businesses, and hope that you will love and support ours too!
